She came across very well. The only time I cringed was when she went into TXF mode with that young lad. She's surprised me because of all the nonsense in the tabloids I thought I wouldn't like her at all.

Thats why you shouldn't pay attention to anything you read in papers;-)
I know a lot could be down to the editing, so I'll reserve giving my verdict until after a few of the live shows.
But on the basis of tonight's episode I think she could get a Jessie J in reverse syndrome PR wise, as I think she'll gain a positive reception from the viewing public which will help enhance rather than hurt her career.
I don't normally watch the Voice but did tonight and thought tonight's opener was extremely watchable and found Rita Ora to be absolutely lovely. She's great! Such a warm and caring personality. She went a bitt OTT with the Scots fireman but overall she's a good addition to the show.
This threads about her alone, though.
Actually Tom and Ricky both talked about the actual singing.
Wouldn't expect Will to, he knows about as much about vocal technique as next door's cat. But he knows about showmanship. Rita knows about ............. ?

Glad you enjoyed it. And agree it was very watchable 😊

She must know about the business but, to be honest I don't really know much about her apart from what I saw tonight and what I did see/hear I really liked.
Well done to Rita Ora, she came across really well tonight on her first show, it's great to have a coach that is sassy, funky, sweet and current. A definite great new addition to series 4, I look forward to seeing more from her.

Cringe-making.
What voice-based judgements did she make?
Anything about tuning, or breath control for example?
She didn't but then neither did any of them.

Absolutely
Loved her beeline for the hot scottish fireman and her sweet letter to the glaswegian lad who nobody turned around for.
Yes she made sure that he wouldn't pick her.
