Just a heads-up. Hadn't realised this was on until I saw an advert this evening.

Includes an interview with the writers and also showing of the viewers top rated episode.

Just saw the ad myself! Will definitely watch it. Probably be quite sad to though.

Sounds fairly promising, thanks for the tip. Agreed, it'll inevitably leave us all just missing Dermot once we're done laughing.

Some sort of outtakes/on-set footage would have really been great, but I suppose if it existed it would be on.

Apparently Pauline McLynn (Mrs.Doyle) has refused to be interviewed as she doesn't want to be typecast.

Should be a great night's viewing : I'd go for A Song For Europe to be the viewers fave :)

How will she be typecast just by giving an interview?

I would rather think of her as Mrs. Doyle rather than THAT scene in Shameless. *insert pukey smiley here*

Not sure myself : seems she doesn't want people to keep associating her with the Mrs.Doyle character, but I think she's wrong not to give an interview.

Oh I enjoyed that scene, not enough seen and didn't go on long enough IMO.
Shameless hasn't got a lot else going for it these days.

If I have a favourite episode (and I'm not sure I do, as I think they're all wonderful), it would probably be 'New Jack City', with Father Stack,

If only for the following exchange:

Dougal: God, Ted, I've never met anyone like him anywhere. Who would he be like, Hitler or one of those mad fellas?

Ted: Oh, worse than Hitler! You wouldn't find Hitler playing jungle music at three o'clock in the morning.

It turns out the viewers favourite probably won't be Song For Europe after all as that one is being shown on C4 tonight at 11:40PM

    Completely agree.

Fintan Stack's my favourite of the 'other' Fathers.

    Fintan: What are we watching?

The Channel 4 site would seem to suggest that the Viewer's Favourite is Speed 3 and the Writers Favourite is Kicking Bishop Brennan Up The A***

The speed one I thought was ok but Kicking Bishop Brennen up the ar*e is by far the funniest. I hope they actually show both parts this time as I have seen both but never together and usually months apart.
