Favourites & Aspect Ratio

I know these questions have been asked many times in the past and people are probably sick of them being asked but..
Will we ever get a "Favourites" menu back on the Thomson DTI6300 box ?
Will there ever get a fix for the aspect ratio problem ?
I've noticed mainly on the ITV and C4 channels, that when a program goes to adverts and then returns after the adverts the aspect ratio does not change back (in my case 16:9) I have to tune out and then back in to get the correct picture ratio.
