Even Wolves can't cock this up, it would be truly unprecedented I reckon for a club in this position not to go up.

Yep - home and dry - I'd already given my supporter number to a mate for the crewe game so that he can take his Dad. Regretting that decision now!!

Shame it had to be at Crewe's expense today, but every well done on gaining promotion back to the Championship.

Congrats Wolves. When you beat County at Moulenix you were the best team that I've seen this season

A brilliant season for us. I don't really post that often in the thread, even though I support Wolves, mainly because I don't like the idea of doing a "blow by blow" account of the season, constantly in a thread such as this.

I'll start by saying Kenny Jackett has done a brilliant job. Some time ago I booked 3rd May off work thinking it might go down to the last day. Hopefully it will be a celebration of the league 1 title for us.

I think a lot of Wolves fans have enjoyed being in League 1 this season.

Yes it was not where we wanted to be, but we deserved to be there. Although that does not matter at the moment.

We still however would like to be in the Premier League, and come August I will be looking forward to the season, with the hope we could challenge for the playoffs!

The stock comment when posting about Wolves! :D

Well they didn't, albeit everything went their way today with the red card for Crewe and one for Brentford who lost.

That aside, Kenny Jacket has done a great job pulling out the weeds from the squad and promoting younger hungry players.

Congrats guys, You've played well this season and deserve to go up. League 1 is a tough league to come out of.
    Good luck for next season.

I can beat that. I got offered a completely free ticket but couldn't go because the missus was out all day and I couldn't find anyone to babysit the lad!

Why couldn't you take the lad with you?

This is 3 promotions now since the big cock up. Can we put that to bed now?
Completely different set of players and management. Promoted in a canter.

What would be the expectation for Wolves back in the Championship next season?
Will a season of solid mid- table be acceptable or will Jackett be under pressure to be aiming for Top 6?

What are the chances of back to back promotions for Wolves, just like Norwich and Southampton have achieved in recent seasons?

On SSN they said Kenny Jackett doesn't see many incomings during the summer, as he wants to carry on the goodness in the squad, which he has now, but will buy if he feels it was worthwhile
