  People follow then rarely return. Numbers mean nothing. Same with facebook groups.
  
  I have tweeted just twice this year but I still get notifications in my email whenever new people are following me, and I never understand why. Somehow I have gained 465 followers but I bet none of them actually realise or care I haven't tweeted. It's just modern silliness.

  people don't always follow someone because they like them. Some follow because they are curious or they want to see and/or expect to see arguments ,and some follow in order to troll that person.

  After the programme I watched a couple of nights ago on channel 4 twitter votes mean sod all.
  Twitter votes can be bought for about 30p per 1000 votes.

  Why do people put so much importance on twitter followers? As for comparing hazels with the amount that gina has it's just pointless because gina already won she is still there and hazel isn't.;):cool:
