  So am I, probably like a high brow version of the Big Fat Quiz. Still I can't be doing with the Crimson Fields and Endeavour.
  (The previous sports program was boring snippets like the music program though.)

  Come to think of it, Partridge had the idea 'Cooking in Prison' and then Gordon Ramsay did a series based in a prison, although it was on Channel 4.
  
  The Jet from Gladiators Barn Dance was definitely Partridge!!

  As expected it is a high brow big fat quiz type program and it is starting to drag. Still there are a few good snippets and facts.

  In 'olden days BBC2 would have had this type of quiz merely as a filler rather than the main event.
  
  
  This would have been the set-up:
  
  Perhaps 10 minutes of the quiz, then a classic episode of something serious from the BBC2 archives, then another 10 minutes and so on.
  
  It's revealing how the froth that was once infrequent is now the focus of BBC2 programming.

  They would've done a six hour theme night with proper documentaries. Not a quiz show.
