    Bumped into him in a pub in Edinburgh once- really nice guy. I'll never forget the hilarious scenes of the wonderful Deirdre tearfully reading out his farewell letter to Liz.

    His eastenders character Richard and his corrie character Vernon could not have been more different which shows what a good actor he is. I thought both characters had potential and left before their time.

    Tricky Dicky was an awful character - borderline psychopath, however the actor who played him is very good.

    I also liked Vernon, the failed rock star. I also saw him many moons ago in the Madness musical Our House

    I really liked Vernon. He was funny. I can even forgive him for Michelle. Would be great if he came back.

    I will always remember the episode where Violet gives birth in the Rovers and he couldn't handle it, hilarious.

    I really liked Vernon he was an unintentionally funny character.

    Although I didn't realise he was responsible for bringing Michelle into Corrie......not so sure I can ever forgive him for that :kitty:

    Him and Liz were so much more suited than Liz and Tony.
