What were your favourite tv shows as a child?

I was thinking yesterday how rubbish kids tv is these days and it made me go and have a look on youtube for some of the stuff i used to watch when i was little.
I got very nostalgic and found loads of shows i used to love, some that id forgotten about as well.
Stuff like, The Animals of Farthing Wood (did they ever get to the other side of the motorway?), Round The Twist, Rockos Modern Life, The Raccoons, Sharky & George, Dungeons & Dragons, The Family Ness, Rude Dog & The Dweebs and plenty more, what did you used to love? :)

You are right, kids tv now is rubbish, even on saturdays they have nothing entertaining on.

    I used to love:
    Gummi Bears
    Getalong Gang
    Transformers
    Round the Twist
    Grange Hill
    Thundercats

    I could go on.....................

Why don't you. . . switch off your television set and go and do something less boring instead. Banana Splits. Blue Peter. Mulit-coloured Swapshop. Jackanory. The Magic Roundabout. Andy Pandy.

Rocko's Modern Life (which, if you watch it again, is clearly the premise for Spongebob :) ), Rude Dog and the Dweebs, the Magic School Bus, The Animals of Farthing Wood, The Riddlers (even though they terrifid me I had a morbid fascination with them), ahhhh too many to say :(

My earliest memory was of Gigantor. Yes, i'm quite old but I loved it. Obviously it looks a tad dated now!:)

He Man and the Masters of the Universe was fab, although I haven't seen it in years so I'm not sure it'd be quite so good these days.
