She just needs a juicy storyline , either a drunk serious misdemeanor or a secret fling.
She can act and is a lovely looking girl , there's no doubt about it . |

She is absolutely gorgeous! Not keen on her voice though.
Her and Michelle Keegan in a threesome would be decent, or even just watching them two have a go on each other. |

She is a cutie on screen, but her drunk plots are getting boring.
Come on, she's better than that! |

The actress is alright but Lauren, as a character is going round in circles.

I love Lauren and prefer Jacqueline to Madeline to be honest. Lauren is a great character and the alcohol addiction plot is good to see. It's good to see a teenager who is dependent on alcohol. I think this is where the story is heading in my opinion. I definately think that things are going to get a lot more darker for Lauren. I can just imagine December focusing on her addiction and a Christmas explosion about it. I think if the writers are clever, they can slowly intestify her alcohol issues and bit by bit, make her become more and more dependent on it. Will be interesting to watch if this is where her story is heading

after end of the party scene, I think Lauren and Fatboy would be a good pairing

Lol ... it seems to be that after every EE episode somebody creates a thread about how worldy-fantastic somebody was, crowing about the acting 'masterclass' we've just witnessed.
Cora, Jay, Sharon, Tanya, Lauren .... !!!!! ![]() ![]() No doubt Hollywood beckons for them all. ![]()

She's an average character and an average actress, IMO.

Jacequeline's beautiful; that's without a doubt. As an actress, she's ok - she's neither terrible nor is she amazing. The young actor who really is head and shoulders above the rest, is Jamie Borthwick. After that, I'd state the second best actors/actresses respectively are Joshua Pascoe and Lorna Fitzgerald. Then, fourth best would be Jacequeline Jossa. The actors, who simply leave me cold are the likes of Hetti Bywater and David Witts of whom only seem to have one facial expression really, and a very fixed mono-tone delivery of lines with a void of any sort of emotion. It's for the same reason I don't really rate Tony Discipline.

Jay is definitely the best. The part where Billy chucked him out was heartbreaking. |

Jacqueline Jossa's an ok actress. Although not much more then that. I think its time for Lauren to be axed though.

Wonder who'll be 'fantastic' & 'out of this world' in EE tonight?
I await the gushing platitudes with baited breath ... |

why is every poster in this forum obsessed with finding a character that should be axed, Lauren is a perfectly serviceable background character until another big S/L is developed for her, not every character needs to be a focal point all the time, in fact if you try to do that then everyone gets lost in the blur

She a very capable actress and defiantly one of best BK's finds in his recasts, I wasn't keen of the idea at first but I think after time it was need for them to portray Lauren in more adult storylines, Madeline Duggan was good for her juvenile years but I think she took her as far as they could so it the end it was a right decision, I'm please they never axed Abi as she somebody who has transferred nicely from child to young actress role.

I can take her or leave her, I prefer the more 'normal' teens like Alice.
As for Lauren's looks, I really couldn't care less. |
