Whatever's happening with crappy commercial pop music at the moment with their young fans with the attention span of a goldfish doesn't really change that.
I usually only buy singles from "crappy commercial pop music" and outside from that circle . You can even get them for free using amazon or itune promos.
Why bother paying for it? I don't care if you're the bigger popstar or some little indie band.
She might be right but she has never released a good album so maybe shes just bitter. Wish she was still on 'maternity' leave, getting nauseated by her return already!
I've never heard a Beyoncé album, thankfully but I've heard plenty of her singles and only two stick in my mind:
'Crazy In Love' because it relies on a sample from an infinitely better record and 'Single Ladies' because it's one of the most God-awful rackets I've ever heard. The rest have been forgettable.
I'd believe that this woman is so obsessed with her own career that she probably only takes heed of anyone she sees as a rival (threat) to herself and therefore would be unaware of or unconcerned about artists who release quality albums aimed at more mature ears.
