No I had never seen the US ads for Ayds but on your advice I did look up the video on Youtube which has about half a dozen US Ayds adverts and I agree it is a very non-specific line "contains one of the most powerful appetite suppressant you can buy, and contains no stimulates!".
Although I didn't think you could get a more (accidentally) funny line that in the UK advert, I do think this line from one of the US adverts gives us a new winner:-
Serious looking upper management man: "Why take diet pills when you can enjoy Ayds?".
Ayds diet candy - the comedy gift that just keeps giving.
