David Jason reminds me of Les Batersby with that hair.

David Jason is brilliant in this - the last 15 - 20 mins have had me in tears.

    Was pretty disappointing overall.

    Agreed.

Although I thought it was a good drama, the ending just left too many loose ends.

    What happened next?

    Did they get back together?
Does he get the 50k back?
Will he finally get a job?
    Who stole the money?

can you help? - we lost our satellite signal for the last five mins so never saw what happened!!!!!!!!!!

A quick synopsis would be great (in a spoiler if you like :) )

The acting from all the cast was great but David Jason played someone who in my family did the same thing favouring somebody else.

I never understood this & does at times give problems especally somebody who does mor or less nothing.

The son, David, hes a dead ringer for Paul Nicholas..uncanny!!

I thought he was a cross between Michael Sheen and Marc Warren!

Did they get back together? Possibly but don't bank on it.
Does he get the 50k back? I doubt it.
Will he finally get a job? Yes, but only a menial one to start with.
Who stole the money? His "business partner" Bernie something.
David Jason's character woke up at the end.

He had a heart attack (due to all the pressure) doctors told his wife the outlook was not good....all the family came to see him in his coma, including the daughter's ex-boyfriend. Then the brat of a son turned up...then the son went back to his parents flat...then cut to the hospital and he wakes up. the end

    Jackie Brown - Me too!!

Nobody has mentioned the wonderful Alison Steadman. I think she's great and have loved everything she's been in.

I enjoyed my couple of hours viewing anyway.:)

I always add five or ten minutes to a recording in case it over runs.

The daughter, Kellie Bright, was in "The Upper Hand" with Joe McGann way back and the son was in Martina Cole's "The Take" on Sky1.

No repeats scheduled and, as they were already promoting the DVD over the end credits, unlikely I would think.

No repeats scheduled and, as I mentioned in another thread, the DVD was advertised over the end credits - so unlikely there'll be one for a while.

Suppose it depends how big a Jason fan you are if you want to get the DVD or not
