I went to see this film yesterday not really expecting much. The storyline isn’t that substantial, a posh kid expelled from every private school ends up in a state school and sets about making himself popular and helping the other kids along the way, but it turned out to be pretty entertaining.
Anton Yelchin carried off the lead role well for a relative unknown and Robert Downey Jr, who seems to be in so many films at the moment, was the High School Principal out of his depths and every bit as well cast as his Tony Stark/Iron Man role.
The film hasn’t had much promotion but don’t let that deter you. I give it a 7.5/10
