Someone Like You by Adele springs to mind, I know that it has already been mentioned. I've nothing against Adele but I can't stand that song. I liked it when it first came out but then it got played to death and hyped. 19 is the better album in my opinion.
I hate that song. Everytime I hear it I just want to smash the TV or radio up. It does my head in >:(
Sex On Fire by whoever it was. Hate it with a vengeance.
I hate it even more when someone covers this dire Kings Of Leon Song on a talent show and they think they are a rock god.
I don't like Hey Jude, but that's probably partly down to the appalling phone adverts.
Two of my pet hates have already been mentioned. Candy Man makes my ears bleed and Come On Eileen makes me angry.
Shout by Lulu makes me have violent thoughts.
agree with dodrade when you said imagine by John Lennon, could never see what the big deal was about, apparently its deemed the best song of all time. That tune in 2006 by Gnarls Barkley 'Crazy' that stayed at no.1 for god knows how long, I always wondered what so special about that song, very very average to me. Also I wish I was a punk rocker by Sandi Thom the same year, very poor song but since both these songs got to no.1 a lot of people out there must have liked them, I did and still do question the general populations taste in music at times, I see some really good tunes getting overlooked that deserve to be no.1 for months on end
Kylie Minogue - Spinning Around
Aerosmith - I Don't Want To Miss A Thing
Steps - Tragedy
Girls Aloud - Love Machine
Westlife - I Have A Dream
Sugababes - Round Round
Happy - Pharrell
Blurred Lines - Thicke
Anyting by Adele
Impossible - James Arthur (the original pisses all over his dreadful version)
Imagine - John Lennon

and I always found Rihanna's "Stay" to be one of her worst singles, yet it stayed round the charts for what seemed like a decade.

Rock DJ and Millenium by Robbie Williams (well technically anything by RW, but these two are the worst).
Nonsensical, nursery rhyme at best lyrics, sang by a poor singer
Oh yes these two and yet I don't mind Robbie.
I also can't stand (already mentioned on here)
Anything by Adele or Katy Perry (Both very over rated)
Daft Punk -Get Lucky
Even Rihanna songs annoy me now .

Apart from Steps^_^ That one song..just..that one ok:p
Happy by Pharrell and get lucky.
Most Saturdays songs
Britney Spears wirk b!tch, I thought it was crap, nothing catchy about it all.
Not really a fan of Adele
I'm a very laid back guy. Some songs irritate me. But for some reason that song is on another level. If it comes on when I am out I have to leave until it's over. Otherwise I don't know what I would do. But it would be very violent and very destructive and people may die.

It's Rihanna. I'm sorry to be a pedant but I can't stand that incorrect spelling. It just looks ugly .

For me it has to be Last Christmas by Wham. Just dull.
Overhyped as this great pop song but I couldn't understand what all the fuss was about it
