What happened to Kimberly Corman and Thomas Burke?

Of all the characters who "altered death's design", in the Final Destination films, there are only 2, whom we never learn their ultimate date.

They are Kimberly Corman and Officer Thomas Burke.

What finally happened to them?

Did they die in some horrible way, shortly afterwards?

Did they marry and live happily ever after?

Did they go their separate ways, only to live out their lives wishing they had stayed together?

    It's been a while since I saw the FD films, but I'm pretty sure both died. I think they were killed between two films as there is an article about their deaths in the following (roller-coaster) film. At least I think it was them, anyway.

    I did wonder.

    All the other characters die, in the film they appear in, bar two exceptions

    First exception is Alex Browning, who dies between films, and whose death is referred to in the next.

    We see Clear Rivers die in FD 2.

    However, there is no reference in FD 3, to Kimberly Corman and Thomas Burke.
