Denon Remote

My Denon amplifier is not responding to the remote, any ideas on how to check if it is the remote or the receiver that is not working?

    Use the video camera on your phone to check the IR led is flashing on the remote when you press the button.

    Thanks.

    Well the remote shows up in my video camera so it is transmitting.

    Any suggestions on what I should check on the receiver to find a fix.

    Reset the computer in the amp. You will have to set it all up again.

    Have you got "amp" selected as source, you may have pressed another source like VCR/DBS etc.

    It's in the manual - you hold down some of the front buttons when you power up. Can't find my manual right now or I'd confirm.

    ETA: Found it! - top right on pg24;

    Unplug power cord.

    Plug in power cord while pressing |<</- and Menu/Set buttons at same time.

    Then press Clock button, display shows "AM 12:00" to confirm microprocessor reset.

    Be aware this puts all your settings back to default.
