Ironic that they say he's been on a 'successive' hunger strike since 1999. If he's still with us he can't have been very successful at it.

"The murderer is sectioned under the Mental Health Act, so he is not allowed to take his own life."

So, suicide is legal if you haven't been sectioned?

Successive means repeated or ongoing, it doesn't mean the same as successful. :o

How many people do you know of who have been prosecuted for killing themselves?

    it`s been decriminalised since C.1961.

None. It's not a criminal offence. I just found the wording amusing. What are they going to do if he successfully ends his own life?

If he's on his way out - I hope the **** tells what he knows about Keith Bennett's burial site....put his poor Mother out of her misery (before she too dies - she's not well)

Yes, agree with that. 100% sure he will take that secret to his grave sadly.

I find it ironic that people on twitter etc are wishing for his death and wishing he'd suffer terribly. These people really do surrender the moral high ground when they'd happily see an elderly man with mental problems suffer.

I agree. Revenge porn seems to be a popular hobby for Twitter users. :o

I imagine there'd be some serious repercussions for the staff who are responsible for his care.

It'd would be nice if he did have such a miraculous pang of conscience, but I doubt it's ever going to happen. My heart breaks for Winnie Johnson.

you make him sound such a nice old chap who has unfortunately developed alzheimers or something in his twilight years. the guy kidnapped, tortured and murdered several kiddies, surely you can understand why even now, people will be glad to see the back of him, and wish some of that same suffering on him as he inflicted? he really is an evil old bastard.

No but he did have a mental problem meaning he wasn't in full control of his actions.

I can't understand why people wish suffering upon him, yet they claim any suffering he caused people is wrong. Surely all suffering is wrong?

LOL! Brady is no normal, run of the mill elderly gentleman with mental health problems. I will join the good people of twitter in wishing him nothing but the most painful, excruciating death possible. Arguing the toss over moral high grounds when it comes to the treatment of Brady just seems a little too bleeding heart liberal for my tastes. In fact it leaves a very sour taste in the mouth indeed.

Did Brady have a mental problem back in 1963 when along with Hindley they murdered two children? It is a pity the pair of them weren't hanged for their crimes.

He gladly let her suffer all these years, knowing fully well where her boy was buried. That was and is the one last power he had in this mind game he's been playing with Keith Bennett's family for years. He should suffer.

The pain for her must of been unbearable all these years never knowing where her poor son lay :(
