Hilarious! I remember when that happened, I've seen the still image of it and even that's enough to make me laugh. The technical issues were only in the semi though right? Was a better performance in the final but still was missing something for me - doesn't change the fact I loved that song though and along with 2010 the best Romania have put forward.

As for the gif, Sofi's dancing one still has me in stitches!

Bless her. She was SO happy to be there (or at least, out of the house)

What a treat today, 3 songs including our first finalist!

Germany - I'm a bit of a Cascada fan anyway and although I wasn't so keen on this song at first, the live performance has got me very excited to see how this does in May!
Slovenia - not a fan of dub step at all, but loving the backing track to this song. The vocal not so much but my favourite part of her performance is when she forgets that the vocal comes back in :p
Cyprus - nice to have a traditional ballad amongst some of the more uptempo songs (not heard all of the entries so far but I've mostly heard the more dancey ones). Not a patch on Ivi from last year though!

Don't think this one will be bothering the travel agents.

I wasn't a fan of Sofi's song but every time I see that gif I wish she'd made the final.

She looked it at the press conference tbh.

I've not seen Tomoe's reaction yet, but some others are bursting a blood vessel or two which is always good for a giggle.:D

first you bang your head.. now you're needing glasses.. :p;)

Just listened to Slovenia and Cyprus, on first listen they're both ok but not really all that, the dubstep spoils a potentially better song for Slovenia.

But I do think we've now got three really strong songs already going to Malmo in Germany, Denmark and Norway, possibly more than we had last year, even though I would maybe put a couple of other songs above Norway just based on my personal preference. This is probably how I'd put my order right now:

    Germany
    Denmark
    Finland
Belarus (until Rhythm of Love is changed anyway)
    Norway
    Albania
    Iceland
    Ukraine
    Slovenia
    Switzerland
    Cyprus
    Lithuania
    Belgium

Well I for one am chuffed that Germany has chosen Cascada! The more poppy dance the better... keep it coming. Slovenia doesn't offend me and I quite like Cyprus... her voice is stunning and if she can pull it off on the night I reckon it will go the same way as Lithuania 2011.

On a more terrifying note, I just can't stop listening to Marry Me. It sounds like it should be a Rom-Com's (possibly starring Sandra Bullock) theme tune!

i always thought sequel to bridesmaids would be perfect!

Ah 2 semi final for Romania makes sense - just had a look back and Zaleilah, how did this not do better? Such a summery song, would have thought a top 10 finish at least!

It was 7th in the televote. She missed a lyric in the jury final.

Cascada's British accent is brilliant (obviously from her parentage):

One question, where were DJ Manian and Yann Peifer tonight when Natalie was on stage? They're part of Cascada too

I think she said they were in the audience or something, but that she'd like them to be on stage in some way in Malmo if possible.

Yeah, that'd be nice. She only had 2 backing singers so then if Manian and Yann joined her they'd still be able to fit in 1 more person.

Her accent is weird, can't pinpoint where its from but its obviously British if you get what I mean, I love it though.

So pleased Cascada made it Eurovision. The song was head and shoulders above all the other songs in the NF. :)

100 pages since saturday. Shocked to See Louise reach the final in Sweden, and Anton not.

Happy with margaret. Im sure it was the safest choice but adelen would be more fun.

    Sad about betty.

    Hugs to all
