  Because the founder and owner of the studios, Debbie Moore wouldn't allow Pulse (the production comapny) to record another series based on Pineapple. Saying something like the studios is a business at the end of the day and didn't want the show lo give it a bad image.
  
  Which is why Louis Spence's Showbusiness will be only be based on Louis Spence, Starman, Tricia Walsh-Smith, Mark Battershaw & Pineapple Dance Group and The Magnets.

  The Dreamboy handed out some inappropriate material to a nun the other week.
  
  It was said that he had to go to the convent to apologise.
  
  The nun and convent looked authentic enough, but obviously the "Sister Act" part was part of the show.
  
  Were the nun and convent real though?

  I can't see this be re-commisioned for another series. This re-incarnation of PDS has been disappointing. For me it's because it's full of such unintersting people to pad it out.
