Remote Contols

I'm sure this thorny old issue has probably come up before but we have a Bose Solo 5 Soundbar, a Panasonic 48" 4K TV and Sky Q. Despite following all the instructions in Sky Q settings>Remote Controls the remote won't pair up and control either the TV or the Bose and likewise in the Bose setup. So we have 3 remotes which of course are never in the right places at the right times but the sheer fact of having 3 remotes to "get going" is driving us mad.

Can anyone recommend a universal remote for these devices or does it not exist as I think might be the case.

Depending the 48" model you may not be able to do it full stop. There was a few models from Panasonic that were afaik made by Vestel but had a slightly different remote coding. We have yet to find a remote that will operate these TVs apart from the ones they came with. Even some learning remotes we tried failed to work with these Panasonic sets. What model is the TV?
The old sky HD remotes could be programmed to control the Bose so the codes are freely available. I'd be surprised if the Sky Q remote could not also do this but it will take more steps to programme.
The Bose remote pre-dates the Sky-Q system and is unlikely to control it I would have thought.

If you can't find anyway to program up the Sky remote then you could consider something like a Logitech Harmony remote

    http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/harmony-remotes

Though perhaps not the cheapest solution!

They have a page where you can search the database to find out if any of their remotes are compatible with your kit
