He's a child that has had a disturbed upbringing.
I wish some people would cut him some slack.

    Me too.

The hate for him is far to OTT and there is nothing solid to back it up.

The biggest problem with Simon is that the kid playing him can't act. Also having a mixed race kid as the son of two white characters was always an issue.

Is it wrong to like David these days?
Yes it is. He will always be an evil little puny $hit

    Customers
What has Roy actually done to be stuck with those 3?
    They are The Cropperettes.
Once Jim is eventually released and makes another return to Corrie, Liz will jump into bed with him in no time.
    So she will

BUt did she get the order. We were never told. :(

Given what the jury have heard, I really can't imagine them coming to a verdict of guilty. However, given I think because Peter is so complacent he's going to be found guilty.
I have voted for Guilty even though I still think that Rob did it

    BS on what actual evidence
WE didn't get to hear all of it. In the Police car, Barlow said to the Police Officer, " I'm guilty. I did it alright"
    JimothyD wrote: »
Right now Barlow has been sent down, can the judge say 'no appeals' and that can be the end of the matter please. Sick of hearing about Saint Tina.
How can his brief mitigate when he denies the offence ?

Anna spent the time away rubbing in talc twice daily after her 'run in' with Phelan.
A young Anna is now on the X factor calling herself Lola.
Richards is Simon's real mother's name.
and his real father is Shredder from Plebs. ;-)
Why would peter kill tina after confessing the affair? ??
The Jury failed to understand this. He had no motive. :(

Well, that was the last episode I will ever watch.

Yet another innocent person is found guilty in Coronation Street.

    Pathetic, it always happens.

I have watched since the very first episode, but Blackburn has ruined it for me. poor continuity, badly researched storylines and conveniently forgotten character traits.

    Bye bye Corrie!

If Blackburn gets the sack, I might try watching again.

It has become ridiculous the way everyone is guilty. I was praying for a not guilty for a change last night-alas, I apparently have more imagination that Blackburn-I should have known better! I, like you, have watched Corrie for a long time (since I was 8 ish in 1973), and I can't believe how much it has hit the buffers recently since SB took over. It's annoying seeing a producer ruin characters like he's doing, creating unbelievable storylines (many of them drawn out and boring), and frankly ruining the history of our once great street! Time for a change I believe, especially if long watching fans like yourself are leaving...

I guessed he would be guilty as Jim's story hasn't finished yet

The same old cliche "gossiping in the pub and overheard by relative of the accused" scene we get every single time they do this story.

Sences like that have always been part of Corrie's history.
I love Carla and Roy scenes.

Something positive from you. Has your account been hacked?
Dire scripts tonight. No change there then.

Blackburn and the Corrie team hang your heads in shame. ITV prepare yourself for Corrie's death next year. RIP Corrie.

Complete exaggeration from you again. We get it now you hate Blackburn its starting to feel like unhealthy obsession.

Best episode since Ken returned I felt sorry for him when he came home after Peter getting sent down, he was a broken man. Unlike Anne Kirkbride who's acting is getting worse the years are catching up with her.

Anna's voice like nails down a chalkboard.

The show missed a trick by finding Peter guilty : they just couldn't resist the cheap and sensational route (as per usual). The fall out on the street from a not guilty verdict would have been huge and dramatic and would have divided everyone.

Because he's a horrible, rude, obnoxious little brat>:(

My problem with Simon is that no matter how badly behaved he is, the adults in his life always make excuses for it.

If by any chance (which is never) he is reprimanded and gets upset, the said adult (usually Leanne) grovels round him for forgiveness. I hate all that >:(

Why is Sally even sitting in on this, other than poor writing? Carla wouldn't ever have her in an important meeting, especially with a known hard ass!

Actually, if you were distracted and barely holding it together because your (albeit estranged) old man was facing life for murder, it probably would be a pretty good idea.

She's not Alexis Carrington and this isn't Dynasty.

I know - it seems to have been this way for months now. I can't bear miscarriage of justice storylines at the best of times, always find them irritating, despite the best efforts of Chris Gascoigne and Alison King. Now we have poor Roy being terrorised by the local thugs, Kylie becoming a drug addict and Steve (who we rely on for comic relief) suffering from depression.:(

Yes!! Roy being bullied. What fresh horrors await him or is it just terrorists SB is copying from real life(in a small back st way)?
The whole thing(CS) is a mess now. There's no enjoyment at all in it. I don't have the same sense of humour as SB so there's nothing left especially as the old Steve's left with his sense of humour. It's gone beyond dire .

Soap characters who are skint and would gladly pay the £8 for it.

What Cafe's do you frequent where Beans on Toast cost £8 because I doubt there will be any post cafe's like that in Weatherfield.
