    Oh dear.

Two men trying to out-**** each other in front of a non-existent deity.

    Quite amusing really.

On one hand, I applaud anyone who stands up to any form of discrimination, but on the other hand it gets on my last nerve when they repeat themselves over and over and over and over again.

    This is a worrying trend.

First the homophobic subway in Paris, now a homophobic subway in New York.

Think I'd better avoid all pedestrian underpasses in London. :(

Didn't we predict all these censorship laws would just drive homophobia underground?

This forum mainly. Here's thing, I dislike homophobia and I dislike those who display that same kind of mentality towards the religious. While its great that anyone who tried to post homophobic stuff here would find their posts removed and their account probably inactive, it seems fair game to treat people with different beliefs in the way a homophobic would treat a gay person.

The usual reason is that the religious treat gays and lesbians that way so it's only fair or alternately the whole thing depends into sky fairy vs science territory. Here's the thing, the bashing that goes on here is aimed at people no matter whether they ever said anything homophobic, racist or anything else. It's seemingly an acceptable form of bashing and bullying which is in fact as bad as homophobia.

Boring. Feel sorry for those who just wanted a peaceful commute and were forced to listen to this rabble instead.

    Must be true.

Or alternatively can't be true because you doubt it and can't be bothered to go check.

Attacking religion isn't the same as attacking religious people.
Saying sky fairy for example, is not directed at anyone is it.

I think plenty posts are rightly removed for personally insulting or saying religious people are this or that, but 'sky fairy' isn't a good example certainly.

It is when it's directed at specific posters with the aim of getting a reaction out of them. Then it becomes about attacking the poster rather than about attacking the religion.
