No dont be so stupid. Strictly is a celeb show and they are volunteers and they already have a lot of money and some fame. Wagner is a contestant in a "public" show and hes in it for himself not some deluded notion of doing the right thing for the country. And why in the hell would he walk when his popularity is at an all time high.

But no yor're right OP Wagner should walk cause some people on Digital spy are mightly riled up!! AHAHAHAH lets show him this thread and maybe he'll realise the carnage hes causing internet forums Uk WIDE!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I don't think Wagner has the self-awareness to walk. And much as I find the whole Wagner thing somewhat tiresome, I don't think he should.

What will be will be etc.

John Sergeant didn't walk, he never expected to be there that long and hadn't booked enough time off.

Lord Wagner is rightly there, rightly appreciated, and as he told everyone to "Embrace the madness" and thanked them for their votes he will be there till he is crowned King.

Yes pleased :D with John he knew he was crap, with Wagner he actually thinks he can sing and is good

Wagner, Ann and Gillian should be put on an Island and left there, with their annoying fans :p:D

No. As much as i dislike that he is still in there, he was put in there fairly by the judges and being kept in there by the public

So can the bloke down at my local pub, he does karaoke fairly well too

Strictly is FAR more of a genuine talent contest than X-Factor ever has been.

Why should he? He's the only entertaining act.

The others should all walk for putting half of the Nation in coma's every Saturday night.

    Don't see why he should

Granted he takes it seriously unlike Sergeant did with Strictly and walked when there was a real danger of him winning

Wagner will probably be gone anyway this weekend in the double elimination along with Katie so just about everyone's a winner

Of course he's not going to walk! Why would the winner-in-waiting do that? The producers put him into the show knowing the public would vote for him. If they have underestimated the Scowell backlash that's their fault - not Our Lord's.

The show is not about singing. Scowell confirmed that when he put through Jedward instead of Lucie, put through Katie when she just sat on the stage and wailed "save me", and again put Katie through instead of Paije (who can actually sing). If the producers want us to vote seriously, they need to put in some quality acts and tone down the puppetmeistering somewhat.

But TBH, there isn't any competition for Our Lord anyway! Two people who can sing but are boring as hell (Matt and Rebecca), a miming boy band, two acts that should never have made it past boot camp (Katie and Cher) and Mary. Voting for Wagner is the only sane choice.

    No.

He's a terrible singer and many who were better did not make the live finals, but he was put there fairly and has to stay, if only to expose the ridiculous voting system and the lack of credibility of Louis Walsh.

It is important for the future of the show that we all now get behind Wagner and help secure him a well deserved win.

I dunno what all the fuss is about, we've been here before, Jedward, people have short memories.

The 20% or so of votes he's likely to be getting won't increase - but the other singers' votes will increase as they transfer from eliminated singers to the remaining singers (and not to the novelty act).

New viewers to the show who start to watch and vote in large numbers right near the end are going to be appalled when they see Wagner, if they vote it will probably be for a singer.

If he isn't picking up and increasing number of votes plus transfer votes, How after 9 out of 16 acts have left is he still here?? ;)

Jedward was entirely different. They were placed in the show by Louis and pulled out at a prearranged time. Wagner is just there to optimise media coverage and revenue form votes.

Because 20% or so is enough to keep anyone there and mostly out of the bottom 2 until the last 4 or 5, simple as that.

Yes he'll increase slightly and will get a few transfer votes but the others should benefit more from the shrinking field.
