Is HMV good to pre-order from?

Just pre-ordered a new album and wondered whether I'm likely to receive it next Monday (release date) or before?

    Usually I use them and get it the Friday/Saturday before release, and when it doesn't then it arrives on release day

    I usually find HMV very good and quite often the cheapest but i always check on finddvd.co.uk

    I have never had any problems with HMV.I buy from them a lot :)

    Yep, think this is standard. I love getting my new release a couple of days early. Sad i know.

    I take it it's normal for the Item status on my account to say 'Item pre-ordered. Not yet issued by supplier'?

    Getting a little bit agitated now. The Item Status still says it hasn't been received from the supplier. If I'm going to get it early, or even on time, surely they should have received it now and be thinking about dispatching it?

    I'm pleased to report that it was dispatched this morning. Am I being greedy in hoping that it might even arrive tomorrow? :o:p

    It's coming from Guernsey so it will no doubt arrive the day after tomorrow.
