when planner sharing comes in
will i get to watch it on the sister box in the bedroom?
will they ever give a blu ray option (still baffles me)
will there be a proper thought out pricing structure that is easy and transparent
discount for no DVD option???
there is no FAQ section on Sky's website... why
i know its early stages but has no one thought of these before launching
its normally opposite way round and launches are done extremely slowly

Good afternoon.
Yes
Who said anything about a planner sharing feature ?
Who knows , was only released to public yesterday.
Pricing seems easy to work out to me. New films more than old.

Ask them.
Feature has been tested , for quite a while actually.
Thanks, not unreasonable, The Hobbit 'Smaug' (extended) for example is £12.75 for DVD + UV copy on Amazon.
Shame there is no Bluray option though (Actually that's only £13 incl UV @ Amazon).
Sky will be sending the 'retail' version of the DVD - so if the original company who made it have made Bluray available, you'll get that version ;-)
Bluray is planned but as the vast majority of people don't have Bluray players (me included), they have started with the DVD option and off course the HD 1080i option to watch on sky+hd box.
They plan on allowing people to get access without a Sky TV subscription also - so no, you're not tied into having their subscription.
If your box goes faulty or you upgrade, you visit www.sky.com/restore where you can restore which downloads you want.
I take it this is being denied to owners of Pace and Samsung boxes?
We have the new EPG 009 software on our Pace but the version number is one listed as not being compatible.
So you have to own an Amstrad to get this I take it?
At the moment I believe so.
That's not to say that it won't come to other boxes, as I can't see that it's hardware dependent in any way.
I assume you don't have a "purchased" tab in your planner?
If not, it's not there yet.

Sky seem to be suggesting only the latest Amstrad/Sky branded boxes are compatible.

Hope this clears up all your concerns.
Have a nice evening.

Yeap what a waste of time and well overpriced. Why would Sky think the customers who are used to Bluray quality would settle and even pay for DVD?
No HD on Sky Go
No Bluray on buy and keep.
Believe in better or more likely believe in last decades technology :D
