Maybe I should be in advice - sorry - couldn't decide.
Anyway - I have been asked to make some cards for the Year 6 leavers at my Primary School and I want to put a suitable quotation or something in there. Anyone got any good ideas? I am still trawling google.
Cheers

Nelson Mandela

Bob Marley
Something like that... I hope someone can correct the first part, the ''tree with no roots; how can it grow'' part is correct though.

If I was doing them honestly I would like to say 'you are not that special - get over it. - but got to be more tactful i suppose!!!
^ Out of my school diary lol
Perhaps I should put a quote from Michael Jackson in to be topical, incase they keep the card for future reference!!!
did he say anything inspirational - my daughter suggested - 'Heal the world' MJ
"Make new friends, but keep the old,
one is silver, the other is gold"
might be worth using?
You could take a line or two out of 'Man In The Mirror' if you want an MJ quote. Like "If you want to make the world a better place/Take a look at yourself and make a change".
I'm not sure if that's the sort of thing you're looking for though.
