I think Radcliffe and Laverne are perfect for Glastonbury, sticking closer to the spirit of Peel than those awful Blue Peter rejects, who are simply an embarrassment.
It seems a very poor line-up this year, but I suppose it depends on who is available.
Apparently Arctic Monkeys played to an estimated crowd of 90,000 last night. Whether you like them or not (and I love them, btw) they have more than justified their second headlining slot in 6 years. Personally, I think it will go down as one of the great Glasto headlining performances. The reviews have been almost unanimously gushing. They certainly played with ferocity last night.
just seen on twitter that streaming starts at 12:45 today
Seems only certain stages, though. The red button seems to have disappeared (taken up by Tennis and Motor GP) so I can't access that menu, and there was only a couple on the bbc/glastonbury site - and not the one I wanted (John Peel stage - which has only appeared now, at 3pm, like yesterday).

I suppose there's only a finite amount of transcode and capture-before-playout capacity on the ingress side - so if the Beeb have inbound feeds from Wimbledon and F1 that they have to service - the Glasto data has to wait its turn...

That second Haim set was just stunning.
Probably my favourite current live act out of bands from the last couple of years.
I've seen them three times and they've always been excellent.

Every time Glasto is on that introduces me to something new. That is this year's *thing*. Thank you!
he's well past it, he has never been good live actually, he's a messy [performer
Much as I hate music snobbery, every time I see them playing anywhere reminds me of a Young Conservatives meeting. Not good.
