Does anyone else catch a lot of colds?

I'm on my second cold in less than a month and my fourth overall so far this year. I started taking vitamin pills in hope it might help me not catch so many, but so far it's not seemed to change anything in that way.
So I'm feeling all miserable and sorry for myself at the moment as I fight off yet another cold, and am wondering if anyone else has a terrible immune system like I appear to?

Wish I'd never told my boss that because if I do phone in sick, he thinks it's self inflicted....
Monday is becoming a pattern, I'd better stop being ill on that day!
Conversely, however, I haven't had a cold since that one in September. I'm not entirely sure how that works! Maybe I've just been very unlucky and then very lucky...
I lick the faces of supermarket cashiers.
Slimline ones only I hope.
No way!
Not had one since.
Mind you I gave up licking the faces of supermarket cashiers at the same time.I did it one at a time until the craving went, now when I feel the need I lick the supervisors instead,It's not as satisfying, but I have cut down.
S'okay as long as you run away afterwards as fast as your little legs will take you.
Is that the reason!? I thought it was because I used to smoke >_<
Coincidentally, I am off work today because of the 'man flu' (& I don't want my colleagues catching my cold) but this is the first one I have had in well over a year.
I wonder if a high-ish consumption of alcohol has a lot to do with catching a lot of colds? Alcohol has a negative effect on one's immune system. I don't drink alcohol as much as I once did. However, I did have 3 pints of bitter/ale last Saturday.
oh dear, I dread to watch LOL
On a serious note I used to work with this bloke who really took care of himself eating a really healthy diet and exercising regularly and he never once needed to take a day off work so it got me thinking perhaps it was my bad diet that was making my immune system low. I changed my lifestyle, began to eat healthily and swim on a regular basis and I'm happy to say I rarely catch a cold these days. If you diet is bad its worth a try, nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Anti-bactariel stuff are OK little and often, but some people go way over the top with them, just wash when you really have to, not all the time.
Yep, it's true. I never get ill! It was in the paper a while back (Daily Mail I think ).
exercising daily (weekdays anyways)
taking a zinc supplement (initially for prostate but when I read good for immune system became more diligent, vitamin b+ again mainly to be more alert but seems to benefit my mood etc).
]eating 4 pieces of fresh fruit per day,
moderating diet for alcohol and sweet things
taking cider vinegar (2 capfuls in small glass of water)
there are a couple of things I do daily, like taking cod liver oil, and drinking at least one litre of water but I wanted to mention these things not because they sound like I am working really hard, quite the opposite the more good habits you adopt the easier they become, I can understand why some people people become health junkies, I really am not that (lunch today was a club sandwich and a belgium bun)
Did you take it just because you have colds or do you have other more serious illnesses relating to your immune system?
