Shaun with a pretty good Final Chase and how did I know he was going to say 'it's just another day at the office' :o

Unusually impressive for Shaun today, he caught the team relatively confidently. I thought he was clever to have worked out that Robert Burns question.

I think Shaun would be ideal for Eggheads rather than The Chase now, as he is very intelligent but sometimes just not quick enough. Perhaps the two shows could do a swap, Shaun going to Eggheads and CJ going to The Chase?

I hope this is a piece of sneaky reverse psychology to keep Shaun. If it is, it's working. :D

Shaun lost in the final of the first Are You An Egghead? programme to find a new Egghead. He was beaten by Barry.

In fact all the Chasers entered Are You An Egghead? I read today that Jenny beat Mark in the first round of the first series. I remember Mark, Anne and Shaun from that first series. Mark because he had been prominent in The People's Quiz 2007 which he was runner-up. Anne because she was really good and I was hoping she'd win. Shaun because my cousin is a friend of his so I'd heard of him when he entered Mastermind.

Personally, I would reconsider my viewing if CJ became a Chaser!:D

    , 17 is not bad

IMHO a full house has failed if they don't get at least 20.

Today's full house scored 13. Wednesday's solo player scored 14.

The full house isn't always the best thing - as shown today. They put each other off.

You missed out the rest of my post where I said that Joel was a hindrance so in that respect 17 was not bad but would have been more if he had not been so eager to buzz in and pass.

Don't think there's an episode on Wednesday this week.

    Going to predict

    Monday- Mark
    Tuesday- Anne
    Thursday- Paul
    Friday- Jenny

Either that or we won't see Jenny for another few weeks :D

if the theory of Mark and Anne doing less UK games is true due to the international versions, then jeez, they must have given ALL the leftover episodes to Shaun at this rate.

Need more Vixen and less Dark Destroyer :D

(This'll likely be a defeat for Shaun since he's won his last three games too.)

Beige is apparently a primary colour. Who would have thought it?

As remarkable as Sly Stallone being Wolverine!

God, Simon was even worse than the drama student! Really weak team today.

Goodness me. This bloke didn't even get the "It's a bird. It's a plane" Superman question. This lot are pathetic.

If the drama student gets left on her own this could be a historic low.

Bit of a sorry excuse of a team this one.

    Horrible team today.

Shaun is going to have a field day in the final chase. Easy day at the office.

Let's hope the last one knows something.

Why so bad- is it just nerves? I'm thinking people going on a TV quiz show are above average quizzers but maybe being on television makes their brain freeze. I can't explain it otherwise.
