Katrina like a spare part there, she answered one question correctly, so glad she's not getting her hands on the £12k
They really could have used the third guy there - the one who quite nobly went for the amount he'd built in the cash-builder (and the lower amount would have been less of a dent that the last silly woman).

I'm glad they didn't win - but I'm always glad if the one that who would have lost out was decent enough to NOT go for a minus amount.

Claire is losing all that weight she put on she looks great.

    And well played Mark.

I was surprised how ruthless Mark was in the final today. During the cashbuilder, he looked as if he was deliberately missing easy ones and not even bothering to pretend. There's only so much you can do, I suppose, to pretend a team that thinks Lake Tahoe, is one of the Great Lakes, has a chance of winning. :)

Don't know why Richard went for the higher offer when it was only £20K :o

Maureen did well, she should stick on the £7K

What did he get in his cash builder? I didn't see the beginning.

Can't quite remember, think it was either £4k or £5k.

This first lady looks familiar, must be repeats this week.

Definitely repeats for half-term due to the Chaser's background. (I hate when this happens.)

The teacher claimed to have taught how many subjects?

She is funny. That's a shame. She would have been fun in the final chase.

Carolyn should be given all the money. She did all the work.

Incredible performance by one of the best single players ever on the program, Carolyn. She could have easily taken Mark by herself and won. 22 correct answers and also 5 push backs as well i think? Well done.

To be fair, Marcus was trying to buzz in but he just wasn't fast enough.

Hmm, The Chase: Celebrity Special on ITV 4 or The Chase US on Challenge.
Decisions, decisions... Ah nuts, I'll go for the UK version.

There was one episode of the US Chase last week where this really knowledgable guy won $125,000 on his own and thumped Mark. The Beast wasn't well pleased.

I suppose if they are showing a week of repeats there will be one Team win, and this looks like the game where the Team are absolutely slaughtered.

Has any competitor ever been the last one standing, and won £3000 or less in the cashbuilder? It would be worthwhile going for the top amount, and risk being knocked out, so one of the team could go for £4000.

I've never seen a team waste so much time in answering or saying pass. Must have wasted about 20 seconds and could have had another 5 questions to be asked.

Glad that young guy didn't get through to the final chase. He was so arrogant.

It also amused me that the arrogant student had HISTORY
as his subject at Uni,and went out on the final question that
was the hoary old chestnut about where Sir Francis Drake
was (allegedly) playing bowls when he was given news of
    the approaching armada!

Yes I was wondering the same. Also wondered the same with regard to the Eggheads.

The Beast's performance in today's show was pretty impressive. 15 straight correct answers and he reached the target with over one minute to spare.
