Freesat receiver & European FTA

I am looking to change our FTA arrangement to a Freesat twin tuner with built in recorder and would appreciate comments about a suitable solution
We currently have a fixed dish with LNBs for 13, 19 & 28 degrees, a diseqc switch,Humax FTA receiver and a Sky box operating as FTA. The 28 degree LNB has 2 outlets, one to the switch and the other direct to the Skybox. The lead from the switch is connected to the Humax receiver. The objective is to replace the 2 receivers & the VHS by a new receiver.
I've read the various posts concerning switching in and out of Freesat mode on the latest Humax receivers and would like to know how much of a problem it is to restore the Freesat EPG? What other options are there if the restriction is to have only one combined receiver/recorder unit?
