Northern HM's are more down to earth than Southerners

Fair comment?

Ash and Helens relationship is the most genuine in bb history. They could easily gone down the showmance root but are keeping it real.

Ash is the most real and likable in there, but because he made one remark against Jale after feeling hurt by her , hes dismissed.

His laugh is infectious , hes outgoing, hes good-looking and most of all down to earth.

Apparently they "say it like it is" and "tell it to their face" more too, albeit whispered in the toilet.

I do think Ash and Helen's friendship is genuine. That doesn't make them nice people.

It's now 2014 and not 1974 sorry but this north south divide thing is just old and very boring.

I don't think the BB house is the place to find down to earth people whether they are Northern or Southern

Ash is far from down to earth, a model who has never got his hands dirty in his life, I'd like to see him down't pit :p

and let's not mention Mark :D

Apparently, if you precede anything with "haway", no one can hold anything else that follows against you.

'Haway, man, I put your toothbrush up my bottomhole and I'm going to chop you into tiny pieces, while you sleep.'

    'Lawl, you salt-of-the-earth-tell-it-like-it-is wag.'

ETA: Sorry, is it pronounced 'mee bottomhole'?

I really don't think Ash is the most real or likeable. Not by a long shot. He's hardly outgoing either.
As for his pseudo, keeling over laughing at others...........cringe.
I do think Helashen are a good example of Northerners being obsessed with how they look/appearance.

I judge people on their personality not from what part if the country they are from.
    This thread is just divisive

Helen and Ash aren't the nicest of personalities in there.

they are not the sort of people Northerners in general would brag about I wouldn't have thought, it would be like me saying Londoners are better because of Jade and Maxwell :p

Northerners also take offence far quicker than southerners and completely over react, hardly laid back.
In fact they always seem to be offended by something or everything.

Can us Southerners donate all Essex types to the North please? They are a bit uncouth for our sophisticated ways and would perhaps be more at home with the flat cap brigade.

In return, we'll take Yorkshire. I quite like Yorkshire,

If "down to earth" means swearing, shouting and being a general gobby nightmare.. then feel free to claim it for the north!
