You are allowed to keep a cat and fish.

You are allowed own a dog.

If you have a large house, may you own a giraffe or elephant?

What about a whale if you have a saltwater lake?

I guess it's OK to keep a giraffe unless you were forced into it by a foreigner.

I always wanted a moat with crocodiles in it - any burglar pops around he could have a little accident - not so great if you are on the piss and fall in though.

My unicorn takes up all the space I have.
    My mistake.
The Wife informs me it's a goat with a horn missing.

I knew a couple who used to keep red bellied pirahna fish, well it was the guy who kept them. Their son used to go raiding neighbours ponds for koi carp to feed them. It was bloody awful seeing these large carp trying to swim with their guts hanging out. Yuck!

Noooooooooooooooo. I was going to beg you for a look. :(

At one time you could keep anything you wanted. Byron famously kept a bear. Harrods would get you a leopard. You have to get a licence now though for such animals, and you are not gonna get one for a bear or a leopard. After that chimp ripped the poor lady on Oprah's face off (I don't mean Oprah herself you understand) I have gone off the idea of people keeping big, powerful animals with huge teeth.

You can keep a pet peeve without a licence if you like.
