BT Campaign for cheaper mobile calls: - a bit rich!

I have recently had an e-mail from BT asking me to support their campaign to reduce the amount of money which mobile calls operators receive from calls. Whilst, I support this campaign, in principle, BT ought to get its own house in order first. Every time I make a day time call, I am charged an 8 pence set up charge, which substantially inflates the cost of calls and is an absolute rip off!

BT: Get your house in order first!

Don't forget the extra £4.50 a quarter that no direct debit customers are charged

There are loads of 'override' operators who will provide a daytime landline call service for just 5 pence a time (that's the TOTAL cost of the call). Nobody needs to pay the BT 'bumper tariff'.;)
