How long in a week do you spend on a train?

An average week, that is??

Me it's about two hours, but I bet there are plenty of commuters here that spend above 10 on the rails. And there will be many who haven't ever been on a train!!

So, basically, just wondering, and any decent (or very indecent) train journey stories out there?? :p

Almost none. In the UK I get the train once every five years or so.

I rarely get the train - maybe once every 2 years.

4 hours on an average week - 1 hour journey (one change, so 15 mins then 45 mins on next train) and return twice a week, for uni.

I don't think I have been on a train more than 10 times in my life and that includes having to change trains to get to where I was going and the return journey

Usually between 30 and 60 hours a week depending on shifts-but I have the advantage of being for it.

On an average week, none. When I used to go see my boyfriend for the weekend, about two hours a week though.

I travel most days on the trains and do my longer journeys on them too so spend quite a lot of hours on them. I've a shortish commute daily but will go miles for time away and love them. :D

Hate the toilets though and also hate people who put their bags on seats knowing people are standing up......charge them for two seats is my chant *evil head on*:p

People can be charged for a second ticket if they insist on this type of behaviour, I've not had to do it yet as people soon move their bag when I start ringing up a ticket on my machine.:)

Was zero. Not been on a train for many years. But with my new job it'll be ten hours a week.

I very rarely do any train traveling, but when I do, it usually only takes just over an hour at the most to get to the destinations I usually travel to by train. Now if we had Japanese style bullet trains, I imagine I would get to my destinations in about 10 minutes at the most!

In an average week - 0hr 0min. (I only tend to use the trains to get to either London or an airport, when going off on holiday.)
