What did the Romans have against people enjoying their chocolate festival? Was it just a good day to bury bad news.

On this occasion I think you might be being a bit harsh. Give him 1 perhaps it was almost funny.

I used a complicated algorithm to determine my final score, part of which involved subtracting 1 for having heard it before.

It's all too funny and acceptable to have a go at the silly old Christians.

OK I did have a nagging doubt about the originality mark but now you confirm it I will reduce my score too.

The crucifixion was his Kinder Surprise. Different sense of humour back then.

On this rare occasion I disagree with you stoatie... I actually laughed at the thread title so I give it 4/10.

Mind you, to put my amusement in context, my favourite joke is 'what is brown and sticky?'

Maybe I am just having a sense of humour bypass here or maybe not, you tell me.

But somehow I don't find this holy day a laughing matter.

The trolls on here are just trying to needle people that do take Holy Week seriously. They are best ignored.

Yes. The Lord laideth down his life so thine could have thine day off.

    No.

You shouldn't really joke about the crucifixion for some reason it's gets people all cross

Another stupid thinly-disguised Religion-bashing thread yet again *sigh*

Can't believe some posters resort to asking such questions in order to be funny.

Thing is, if we have a holiday to celebrate the death of Jesus, then it must have been considered a good thing at the time, yeah?

I mean, we don't have a 7/7 day, or a 9/11 day, and those things actually did happen for real.
