    wow the biggest urban areas with more people watching and proportionately playing are the luckiest parts of the country.
    Thanks for that, Nichola, you statistical genius.

    Melinda and Nichola were apparently the warm up for a programme about prostitutes;
    Nice scheduling.
    (I'm ignoring Michael for the purpose of this remark, unless I can count him as a punter)

    You need to move to London - as we learned, statistically it's consistently the luckiest part of the country.

    Just popped in to see if we had any FM winners yet, but I guess not so far. I know someone won a fiver the other night but I wanted to know if there had been any improvement on that. While I am here though, I must ask why you are all so upset about the 'sweating' thing. I started playing bingo as a child when I used to go with my mum and other family members and friends.

    Us kids used to have a great laugh and by the time I actually started playing myself I knew all the old 'calls' and I also knew that someone 'sweating' meant that they were waiting for one number. It's an old bingo term and if any of you ever went to a real bingo hall you would know this.

    I ended up taking my old mum to bingo in her later years as she could no longer drive and needed help with walking etc... She passed away in 2002 (aged 91) and for her final few months she had not been able to go to bingo and I know she missed it. I have not been myself since then, so my last visit would have been in 2001. I can only assume that either lots of younger people who have not tried a night at the Bingo have either complained about the 'sweating' or the powers that be are actually taking notice of the online forums as the sudden change to 'waiting' is quite obvious.

    I am 51 now and started going as a child, far too young to play, and the 'sweating' scenario was always there, it has been used for years and years, so why all the fuss?

    I don't think I knew the 'sweating on a number' thing was an actual traditional bingo term until this programme started, but how they use it on the programme is a bit odd and thereby comical; for example sometimes they say things like 'David is sweating in Bracknell'.

    I got down to 4 numbers on the 2nd game. Also was close to the magic number (I had i86), it was my first time playing though, so it's all good.

    BTW. I am also a Leo! But I guess it just wasn't good enough! lol

    I'm right on the Leo/Virgo cusp (August 23rd birthday) but my 'luck' seems very average for the games we've had so far.I got to within 2 numbers for the 'two lines' prize.:(

    I don't play; I'm just a sad little man who likes to post sarcastic comments about it.
    I think I'll stop now.

    This reminds me of the bingo wars between the Mirror and the Sun, nearly all of the cards would have nearly all of the numbers on them, there was just one ( or a very low number)with the winning number on though.

    Well, she needs to calm down the arm movements, but other than that, she's doing fine, and getting better with each show.

    In my opinion.
