Seems a shame they are not intending to do anything sensible with the money.

    Given that, out of all the children's channels only CBeebies consistently rates higher than CITV, they must be doing something right.

    And given that many people claim ITV gave up on children long ago, where are all those posters now?

    As the only department within ITV to announce a growth in budget, I think ITV should receive some praise for a change.

    Sure, they have cut various other areas, especially in commissioned drama, which I don't agree with as this is their strongest area of PSB delivery, but praise where praise is due.
