I'm worried for Matt's voice

in The X Factor #1
as much as I like him, i have the feeling that Matt sings with no technique, straining his voice in every performance. If he keeps on singing like this, in 5 years he'll have lost his voice. I'd love to be proved wrong?

    Isn't that how Mariah lost her lower register, all the high notes and bad technique.

    yes... a lot of singers with bad technique end up with problems, nodules, etc.

    I've been watching Bono strain his voice for 30 years and he doesn't seem any the worse for it.

    I think Matt will be ok. :)
