question about football coverage

Sad git that I am I often like to listen to a match while I am at it. In the past 5 live and Talksport would usually have different games on but more and more recently they are both doing the same game . Wednesday the both did the Chelsea match. Was that because Arsenal were on ITV or are Arsenal asking for to much to broadcast their games.
Don't know the figures but I would have though Talksport would have had a bigger audience for the Arsenal game than the Chelsea one as I would imagine , and I understand I could be wide of the mark, that in a similar way to when BBC and ITV both do the same match most choose to watch bbc coverage
