Corrie - The transformation of Molvin

I have to say one of Phil's biggest achievements for me - away from the crash, the explosion, the stunts - is the way he managed to turn around seemingly one of the worst storylines Corrie has ever conceived and develop it into one of the most compelling.

I was absolutely gripped by all of their scenes tonight - Molly leaving Tyrone, Tyrone sobbing into Sally's shoulder, Kevin saying goodbye to Baby Jack in the Corner Shop...

Introducing Molly's pregnancy and the paternity of Jack, as well the subtle twists such as Jack Duckworth finding out and taking the secret to his grave have made it compulsive viewing for me. I hope I'm not alone in thinking this, as I too once detested this storyline with every ounce but... somehow... they've salvaged something and I'm so happy it wasn't just swiftly brought to an end, as the repercussions of their affair have been fantastic to watch.
