Sharp LC26P50E 26" LCD TV with high Brightness/Contrast Panel

Hey again guys,

Does anyone have any views/info on this TV? Again I'm hoping to get one (a HD LCD TV) and I'm pretty sure this is both HD (it says HDMI or something) and has a composite (I think this is needed for HD) connection?

It's mainly for use with an Xbox 360.

The link to where it is on Amazon is...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000AQ5LRG/ref=br_lf_ce_1/202-4645246-5812646

So any personal opinions, experiences or other recommendations (around £600 for a HD LCD TV)?

Thanks a bunch!! :D

Hmmm just realised I think its "component" not "composite" right?

If so... that ain't HD! It's so hard finding a decent HD LCD tv somewhere on the net where they ain't even sold out, or will ship within 4-6 weeks (like Amazon and their 26" Samsung or ebuyer where they don't even sell it any more!)

    LOL

It has HDMI and Component which are the 2 connections for HD, but the LCD has a low resolution to match the current broadcast resolutions. It will take a HD signal but will down convert it so you will not get a HD picture. All the Sharp sets in the P50E range are like this. You want something with a minimum resolution of 1280x720 for proper HD.
