Revolving the show around Shirley Carter
    Dean a rapist
Bobby Beale making him kill Lucy (kicked me out of the show)
    Ronnie Mitchell
Getting rid of Jamie Foreman (a huge mistake)
    Lorraine Newman
Stacey Slater (and her miserable face)

Without reading the replies, my big four would be

    1. Making Alfie an arsonist and never having him face up to his actions. Do it properly or not at all.
    2. Dean. Bring him back if you really think you need another bland pretty boy but don't trust such a limited actor with such a huge storyline.
    3. Messing up the Roxy and Ronnie dynamic with Roxy's affair with Charlie, which ruined his character and also paved the way for Aleks to leave.
    4. Killing Pat. Nuff said.

I would add killing Michael but if the actor wanted to go out with a bang you have to respect that.

    1. Killing off Pat
    2. Turning Kat into a total bitch
    3. Shoving the Brannings down our throats in 2011-13
    4. Shoving the Carters down our throats in 2014-15

    Honourable mentions:
The baby swap; the Moon brothers; Derek Branning; Joey Branning; the horrible 'Who Shagged Kat'; the Joey/Lauren affair; the Hartmans; ruining Kat & Alfie; bringing back Sharon as "Tanya II"; turning Bianca into the village idiot; not introducing the Carters as an entirely new family unrelated to Shirley; Linda's rape.

Not letting Carol have a happy ending with David
    Killing Pat

I would agree with the above but substitute Lucy for Michael.

    1) making Bobbie the killer of Lucy
    2) Dean raping Linda - a far better storyline for those 2, IMO, would have been a stalker/obsessive Dean terrorising Linda but her not knowing it was him - if that makes sense - him being "normal" to her face but weirdo stalking Dean in the shadows, like a split personality
    3) Charlie and Roxy
    4)

Bringing back Kat and destroying her
Bringing back Sharon and destroying her
    Killing off Pat
Sharon forgiving Phil in ten minutes over Dennis/Johnny Allen. Also her 'revenge'. :(

    1. Goon Brothers
    2. Eddie Moon
    3. Derek
    4. Who Shagged Kat?
    5. The latest version of the Walford FC storyline
    6. Carters related to Shirley
    7 Bringing Dean back
    8. Ditching Minty
    9. Killing off Hev
    10. Making Ronnie a killer

It's a scientifically proven fact that when Walford FC is mentioned EE is about to his rock bottom again.

Having lots of characters find out about Bobby and keeping it quiet. I had no problem with it being kept quiet by the beales but no way would anyone else agree to cover it up. I'm betting lauren keeps it quiet now too.

Max finds out and agrees to keep quiet when Jane promises him a shag.

The latest for me Vincent and Veronica
Sharon marrying Phil eww gross plus he is part an parcel to Dennis's murder Sharon would never have forgiven Phil, i find it pathetically disgusting the whole Sharon/Phil mashup (nightmarish thought, imagine the sexual secretions of that mish mash on yee mattress)
    Sonia Fowler, just everything.

    Killing Pat
    Killing Michael
    Bringing back Kathy
Philth's continued dominance as a the hardest man in east London, when he's a fat, old, recovering alcoholic with a history of heart trouble and cocaine abuse, and not the brightest light on the tree.

You forgot that he is short as well - unlike all the massive, muscular younger blokes he beats up or intimidates with such consummate ease.

Remember Connor in the Arches? :D

    Yes, that's true.

Mind you, you don't need height to be a good heavy. Small man syndrome can make for some very unpleasant characters!

Very true - one of the nastiest pieces of work I ever came across was only five four - a boxer who hated the world because he was a shortarse.

He and the Philth have a lot in common. :D

    Bad

    1) Making Dean a rapist.
    2) Killing off Pat.
    3) Derek/Kat - what was that? :o
    4) Axing Charlie Cotton, and killing off Nick.

    Good things they have done:

    1) Bringing in Shirley's family/Buster and utilising her better.
    2) Giving Cora a proper storyline.
    3) More location filming.
    4) Live week, bringing back Kathy and casting Gavin. (I wasn't sure to begin with but I'm enjoying Kathy being back)
