    Nice that i am very predictable and i dare say that karen Gillian's will supersede peri's ;-))

    Ummm, not sure if I agree there. Katy Manning had more cleavage not that i would advocate anyone googling for images using the terms Dalek and Katy Manning ;)

    No dispute regarding Karen's loveliness, solely the potential for Peri's cleavage to be eclipsed ;)

    enjoyed this quote on a thread out there:
    Oooh lets start throwing thunderbolts at each other shal we? Thats not doctor who style at all. Reminds me of the superman vs bad superman in superman III.

    can someone point me in the direction of the Doctor Who rule book that lists the things that are and are not DW style?:eek:

    Actually my inner geek (ok, not so inner ;) ) disputes the post because the most obvious geeky reference to thunderbolts and blue lightning from your hands is Star Wars, Return of the Jedi :D
    Superman III, really :p

    Edit : Imperial March fanvid about The Master by Solamenn. Released after January 11th :D

    Well as this is my 1,700 post on DS i will just say to Webby !

    CORRECT SIR !!!

    but the way that the said electricity is utilized is either old forty's flash Gordon or buck rogers i think in my geeky travels that George Lucas was obsessed with these since he was a kid and they had a profound effect on him so the emperor having that ability is totally logical when you think about it !

    So if the Master is the Emperor, who is Yoda? K9 must be R2D2, Han =Jack

    Tardis =Millenium Falcon
    Rose = Chewbacca? :D
    slitheen = the Hutt
    Mickey = Jar Jar?

    They are both very different, but both great. Folk have talked a lot about Casanova already, but TSC is worth the watching too. I enjoyed the first part best, myself, but it is definitely worth it!
    I couldn't tell which part was better, I always watch them together, they're like a great big ball of... I don't know. :o
    Also, fantastic deleted scenes. And RTD's commentary explaining those cuts... OK, I'll stop. :)

    It is quite a let down for him. Does TB ever speak about his feelings towards the regeneration.
    I only remember from that 40th anniversary show (I think SHeMoore linked it once, not sure what it was called, it's on YT somewhere), TB talking about his decision to quit the show. That he was so in the role, he didn't notice he became quite difficult to work with. He expected more people protesting against him quitting, but "shockingly" they let him go easily. Trollface or someone else could probably tell you the whole story, but I wouldn't be surprised if Four's infamous death was a part of some writer's or producer's revenge...

    Leave poor Katy Manning alone! Whatever people may think about those pictures I'm pretty sure they contributed to overall DW success over the years just as much as everything else! ;)

    Plus, I don't really see the difference, KM hugging a Dalek, DT riding the Tardis in the snow, almost the same thing... :D
