The man was a Scottish showbiz legend.
Sad day
he was always brilliant in pantos and i used to lovve city lights when i was younger
My sympathies go to his family and friends.
RIP Gerard Kelly, legend .
He had the energy of a twenty year old when he bounced on stage shouting "Hiya, pals!"every year.
Everyone from 2 to 92 left his shows with a spring in their steps and Gerard's special singalong song in their hearts.
A true professional and a real gentleman of the theatre. he will always be remembered along with the greats of Scottish comedy - Rikki Fulton, Jack Milroy, Jimmy Logan and Stanley Baxter, to name but a few.
There's a huge chasm to fill. R.I.P.Gerard Kelly.
I also enjoyed him as 'Bunny' in Ricky Gervais' Extras.

I saw him not long ago as the narrator in Rocky Horror and he looked like he enjoyed himself!
