BBC Radio Cymru - Bethan Clement (studio host) with commentaty from a sore throated John Hardy and Iwan Roberts, who both had a 'scoregasm' for Robson-Kanu's goal. This game was trailed throughout on Radio Cymru as 'the only place to hear Welsh commentary'.
I'm guessing because of New Zealand V England in the Cricket starting at 9pm (or did it) that there wasn't commentary on 5LSX?
Richard Wilford presenting WM Sport from The Mailbox

Hartlepool United v Walsall - Brian Arrundale and James Mountford (3pm commentary, as BBC Tees)
Given the uncertainty over whether or not the match will take place, BBC WM took the decision to "share" BBC Tees' commentary on Hartlepool United v Walsall this afternoon, rather than run the risk of sending a team of their own up to the North-East given the recommendations against travelling. BBC Tees' presenter and co-commentator today, James Mountford, is formerly of WM and is aware that he is broadcasting to two audiences today.
BBC Tees are also due carry updates on Guernsey v Spennymoor Town & Tunbridge Wells v Shildon in the FA Vase semi-finals should they go ahead, although I don't know if WM listeners will hear their updates. Richard Wilford and Mike Taylor also have a speedway preview focusing on the Birmingham Brummies in the final half hour of WM Sport (5.30-6pm) today.

Today's rugby reporter (who I presume is updating talkSPORT on behalf of the Talking Rugby agency as per usual) is a new name to me. It's the first time we've heard Dan Freeman on talkSPORT this season, so welcome back to him. Having searched his name on last season's thread, Dan only covered two games for talkSPORT throughout the whole of 2011/12, having been a more regular voice on the station during the season before that one.
Tomorrow on talkSPORT (Sunday 24th March), we'll hear:

I'm guessing because of New Zealand V England in the Cricket starting at 9pm (or did it) that there wasn't commentary on 5LSX?
Test Match Special has typically been starting around 9pm so I guess that will have ensured that Radio 5 Live Sports Extra couldn't carry a commentary on Scotland v Wales last night.
I expect it will have been a case of Roddy Forsyth reporting on that game for 5 Live Sport, with him perhaps being joined by a pundit, with no reports from Sweden v Republic of Ireland.

For those wondering which Ian is correct here - from checking James Burridge's Twitter, it's Mr Cleverly.
It's Andrew Hawes and BBC Radio Solent's usual Bournemouth summariser is John Williams. Don't know if he was there today but I was assume so.
I really am puzzled here as James Burridge and James Knight is the normal commentary team for BBC Radio Northampton and I though originally that it was them on the station as normal today.
Really enjoyed their coverage today on a sparse afternoon.
They have some very good reporters, Tony Incenzo has a good feel for the game, while John Temple paints a great picture and seems very accurate with player identification wherever he goes. Did he once work in the North East? His voice is very familiar.

Agreed. I found Matchday Live to be a really enjoyable listen today, it is always welcome to have the spotlight shone on the lower leagues for a change and Ian Danter did a good job in the studio tying everything together. It is always nice to see some well-deserved praise for talkSPORT's excellent team of reporters on here as well.
On John Temple, as IanFergus mentions he was once an IRN football reporter in the North-East although more recently he has been heard reporting on football and, I think, rugby league for Sky Sports News. For talkSPORT he tends to cover games played in Yorkshire and Humberside, with Graham Courtney being their main reporter in the North-East. I think John has been reporting for the station for coming up to ten years now. He is one of the more underrated members of the Matchday Live reporting crew for my money, I too thought he was on form today.
It seems Ronnie Irani is having a couple of weeks off from The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT so they're having some guest presenters. These include: Matt Holland, Dominic Cork, Brian Moore, David Ginola and Max Rushden.
Meanwhile, talkSPORT's daytime schedules for Good Friday and Easter Monday are as follows:
01:00 Extra Time with Mike Graham 06:00 The Sports Breakfast with Ray Stubbs & Micky Quinn 10:00 Ian Danter & Ray Houghton 13:00 Sam Delaney & Andy Jacobs 16:00 Drive Time with Adrian Durham & Darren Gough 19:00 Kick-Off with Danny Kelly 22:00 Andy Goldstein's Sports Bar
01:00 Extra Time with Jonny Gould 06:00 The Sports Breakfast with Ray Stubbs & Micky Quinn 10:00 Ian Danter & Alvin Martin 12:00 Matchday Live with Adrian Durham, Stan Collymore & Matt Holland - including live commentary of Chelsea v Manchester United in the FA Cup Quarter Final Replay 17:00 Call Sam Matterface 19:00 Kick-Off with Danny Kelly 22:00 Andy Goldstein's Sports Bar
Chris Coles presented The Goalzone from Fratton Park
League One
Portsmouth v Coventry City - Chris Coles and Dave Bennett (3pm commentary on 1359AM and DAB in Coventry & Warwickshire)
No Tom Ross this weekend as he's using the international break to take a holiday, meaning there was no Friday Football Phone-In and there won't be a Sports Bar on Monday. Darryl Murphy has been covering the upheaval regarding Coventry's staff moving out of the Ricoh Arena for both yesterday's Goalzone and Free Radio (formerly Mercia) in Coventry & Warwickshire.
Thanks for posting those talkSPORT details regarding the Easter schedule 4-4-2. I enjoyed listening to the guest co-hosts with Alan on the Sports Breakfast during the first half of Cheltenham week, so I will be tuning in a bit more often when Ronnie's off again. Dominic Cork did a good job covering the show a few summers ago, Holland and Moore are always good value and it will be interesting to hear how Ginola adapts. Max Rushden is an interesting choice as he's covering for Tony Livesey on Radio 5 Live at the moment. He has actually presented on talkSPORT before, albeit as a current affairs host. Max was the stop-gap cover host between James Whale leaving the station and Ian Collins taking over what was then The Late Show in 2008, not long before he started presenting Soccer AM with Andy Goldstein moving in the other direction.
Getting things back on topic, it's disappointing to see that they aren't doing a Matchday Live on Good Friday given the full Football League fixture list - presumably they will still have a reports/scorelines service though, no doubt calling it "Matchday Drive" as they have done in the past. If it was me I'd have put Adrian Durham on between 1-5pm and a phone-in with someone like Jason Cundy between 5-7pm among the listed schedule.
