Spoilers rephrased from ITV.com, as is the norm. Apologies for the brief spoilers. As always, ITV give the same amount for a one hour ep as they do for a single normal ep.

Part, the ONLY

Laurel’s life’s out of control
In booze’s horrible grip
Can she keep herself whole?
Or is there further yet to slip?

Debbie worries for Ross’s life
So enlists the help of Zak
Betty’s causing a bit of strife
Now the old bat’s back.

And a good evening to one and all. At the ad-break disco, this week we have a three song episode, suggested by Cuishla. It’s Eurovision special!

I can't wait to see what Cuishla has picked... I thought about sending in some Eurovision requests myself but I was spoilt for choice!

I give up watching TOTP 80 live for Emmerdale when it's an hour long. I can't believe you'd sooner watch that cockernee rubbish over Emmerdale.

Thanks for the reminder and thread. Love the poetry. I forgot Emmerdale was on for an hour. I'll watch Eastenders on the late slot. I'm loving Laurel right now. Goody goody Laurel has been transformed and it's brilliant. I like the way she has snapped finally after feeling second best to Donna and having April put before her little son. I think her dad and Marlon have gone about everything in the wrong way. Just trying to stop her drinking without addressing why she starting drinking heavily in the first place won't work. While I would probably never speak to someone who killed my dog while drunk I'm loving the character of Laurel. If I knew her in real life I'd hate her for running over a dog and trying to hide what she'd done. However the fictional character is so brilliantly written and acted I think she's great to watch. I'm glad they didn't have Laurel cured by a mini break.
I love watching Ross too so I'm looking forward to tonight's Emmerdale
