They're 'clean' only in so much as they shed all their filth onto their surroundings i.e. beds, carpets, chairs, clothes, cushions, worktops, etc. etc.
I think I see what happened. You bought one and didn't realise you're supposed to let it go outside occasionally?

Poor, misinformed creature. You, not the cat. Humans too shed 'filth'in terms of skin debris, dried bodily fluids and excretions, etc. Cats follow their instincts in terms of hunting (even if they don't need to for food), but that is the extent of their 'nasty' habits. They do not murder, torture and abuse their own kind, neither do they worship false gods, indulge in wars costing the lives of thousands, destroy property for kicks, abuse illegal substances (unless you count catnip), indulge themselves in monstrous egos, lie, cheat, steal or otherwise betray trust or swindle. With cats, what you see is what you get. How many humans can you say that of?

Neither do spiders, and they're equally vile.
As for cats going out. Yes, obviously they go out, and then they being their filth back in with them.
Dogs are infinitely preferable. Dogs do as they're told. Cats just give you a look of utter contempt.

Actually, certain spiders do eat their mate after mating, you wouldn't get a cat do that. However I agree they are vile. Spiders that is, I love cats and have 2 beauties.:)
Both my neutered boys do that as well when I stroke them so maybe they are gay cats as well! I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of 'gay cats out there

Not sure whether I should feel embarrassed for admitting that!!
So you prefer an animal you can easily control and be superior to?
You've been in the homes of all dog owners the world over, then? Wow, that's dedication.

Girl and boy cats here both do it too!
