Is the US following the UK version of the way the last 2 are decided?

As the US still does what we used to do, Have all saved acts surviving till the next week. Is that the case for the current series or have they followed our recent version by having the last 2 dancers doing a dance-off and the judges deciding who to stay for the next week?

No judges' dance off this season. And we don't have the ordinal system based on "points" either. The actual percent a couple gets of all the judges points awarded is added to the actual percent they get of the audience vote. I think that diminishes the judges' effect and makes the outcome even more determined by the audience vote.

I personally like your system better - and I think the dance-off on results night makes it more exciting. Maybe ours is more "fair" if you view this more as a popularity contest or if you think the public deserves to decide. Yours is more fair if you think the judges should have the most influence on who wins.
