He'll regenerate as himself but with his own native accent.

Or else the new Doctor is... Percy Kent-Smith... :p

    This Doctor's already had more regenerations than the average alley cat.

    No, he's moving to his 11th version now, which means he's seriously running out.

    You're only meant to get 12 regenerations, which presumably would make for 13 doctors (or 12 never sure on the counting)

    If an ep ends with the doctor regenerating, and he stays the same actor at the beginning of the next ep, then that will be a very cheap way of having a cliff hanger. The show would lose all credibility.

    But as I said, it won't be the same actor. It will be David McDonald, the parallel universe version of David Tennant.
